The Indigo Collection

This series was born out of a desire to establish a deeper connection with nature and the world around me. Over the course of the summer, I spent time researching, collecting and mulling pigments until I landed on Indigo. The richness and depth of the color captivated me and compelled me to explore it further. I began creating small studies that centered around indigo and before I knew it, this series had come to life! Details have been added using watercolor pencil, pastels and in some pieces, avocado ink and coffee. I hope these pieces bring a sense of wonder into your space and allow for more appreciation of nature and what beautiful colors come from the earth's abundance.
