Hi, I'm Jamie,
an abstract painter based in Rockaway Beach, New York. Drawing inspiration from nature, my work explores depth, memory, and atmosphere through layered surfaces that feel alive.
Through Organic Abstracts, I share my process with artists around the world. More than 800 people have joined so far, learning how to build texture, use fluid washes of paint, and develop their own unique voice in abstraction.
I can’t wait to see what you create!
STUDENT WORK: SEE WHAT'S POSSIBLE
One of the best parts of teaching is seeing how each artist brings their own voice to the techniques. The beauty of the process is that every result is different. The pieces below were created by artists who started right where you are. Here's a glimpse into what they've created and shared with our online community.
STEP INTO THE PROCESS
Every artist’s path looks different- and that’s the beauty of it. Whether you’re picking up a brush for the first time or returning to your practice, this course will meet you where you are. Together, we’ll move through textures, washes, and layered depth so you can discover an approach that feels natural and personal.
